Under floor heating has gained popularity in Australia over the last few years and much of our business comes from client referrals and repeat business from builders. Many of our customers say that floor heating is the best type of heating they have experienced and in most cases, no other heating is required. Today’s systems are fully controllable; they can be independently zoned to individual rooms and they are extremely reliable.

Hydronic floor heating relies on pipes laid in the concrete slab or screed to carry heated water. The water can then be heated by various energy sources. The most efficient currently is a natural gas boiler, but other sources can be used such as electric heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, wood fired stoves and to a more limited extent solar hot water systems.

Deviflex heating cables are used for electric underfloor heating installations where a flexible layout is needed. DEVI offers a range of cables developed for specialised applications.

Devimat heating mats are designed to be as thin as possible, only 2.5 mm, enabling underfloor heating installations into most high quality two-part adhesives with a minimum increase in floor height.

Devimat is a ‘no step’ system that delivers warmth on demand. It can be installed almost anywhere, even on top of an existing tiled floor, and is designed to be laid directly under tiles in the adhesive bed.
